Message the actual value in the map for that psi was 33 degrees. If you had a techtom on it (which we did for verification purposes), it would say 33 degrees. In your timing map, the cells for your loadband would show a 16 in there. However, if your CAS was set to 17 degrees, which is two higher than it should, the techtom would still say 16 degrees, but in reality it would be running at 18 degrees. You could verify this with a timing light.

Same thing goes for setting your base timing.. If you were to turn the CAS such that the mark on the pulley was reading 17 degrees, the techtom would still say it was running at 15 degrees solely because that's the parameter in the map that it is specified.
